We lease servers that are robust, energy-efficient servers with Intel Dual Quad Core Xeon processors, 8GB ram, Large Raid 10 storage arrays for maximum performance & redundancy along with 100 Mbps connectivity to switches.

Data center staff monitors our hardware proactively to ensure that any potential problems on any of our servers are addressed quickly before issues arise. There is a 10-second monitoring system on every one of our servers and the services that run on them, such as HTTPD, MySQL, EXIM (Mail) and other critical services. This allows the system administrators to be notified of a failure within 10 seconds, which results in a quick resolution time to any service interruptions that may occur. Most of the time, the server techs know something is wrong before we do; and as a result most issues are resolved without incident.

In the event that a server has a catastrophic failure, our data center has a complete backup all of our clients' web site data. In the event that we determine that a server has an unrecoverable system failure, we can request to have those accounts quickly provisioned onto a new standby server.
